Spring is a wonderful time to be on the farm. The crops are planted and the fruit trees are blooming. One of the first crops of the season to grow in Ohio is asparagus.
Asparagus is a delightful vegetable, low in calories and loaded with vitamins, minerals and plenty of antioxidants. It is no surprise that we also love apples. Apples are our signature crop. They are high in fiber, packed with plenty of vitamin C and numerous antioxidants also. We hope you enjoy this months recipes with asparagus or apples. See you on the farm.
